Another Successful #SELinAfterschool Day!

Leading Education and Out-of-School Time Organizations Participate in Second Annual SEL in Afterschool Day

We are so proud to convene the second annual SEL in Afterschool Day -- a day that serves as a touchpoint for thought leaders in the space to amplify their collective voice in support of SEL in afterschool. More than 30 education organizations and foundations have joined us in the effort, posting data, best practices, success stories, and graphics in support of SEL in afterschool on social media using the hashtag #SELinAfterschool.

We launched SEL in Afterschool Day in April 2018 as a way for our field to come together and highlight the positive impact we see when SEL and afterschool collide. And, as leaders in this field, we know firsthand the power SEL has on the kids we serve and the adults who lead programming. On this day, we share quality resources on SEL and in afterschool, share impact reports, and publish blog posts - together.
